Every time I visit Jennifer Causey’s beautiful site, I find a new studio — and craft — to covet. The Brooklyn-based photographer captures artisans at work in their own creative spaces, and the results are breathtaking. As she explains it so thoughtfully, “When the project began, I knew I was photographing people who make things, but I soon realized I was also photographing people who make things happen.” I really enjoy people like that, don’t you?

If you’re on the hunt for even more on-site inspiration, check out In The Make, a very cool collection of studio visits with artists and designers.

Do you have a room in your home where you make your best work?

P.S. I stumbled across this video, and love how it urges us to feed the future and go make something beautiful. I think that would be a wonderful way to spend the day! Tell me if you gasp at how the candy turns out!
