What a week! We are trying to make the most of the kids’ two week school break, so we hopped in the van this morning and drove to Paris.
We are staying with Jordan and Paul in their fantastic new apartment. We arrived a couple hours ago and already had a picnic at the Eiffel Tower — it is literally a block from their home. Can you believe how awesome and crazy that is?
The whole family is feeling super lucky that we can be here hanging out with our cousins, but we’re feeling extra lucky that the weather is particularly fantastic. We want to spend every minute we can outside. During the picnic, I asked the kids what they wanted to see and do in Paris and this is the list they made:
1) ride a boat
2) ride a carousel
3) see the Mona Lisa
4) shop on the Champs Élysées
My pick: dinner with Ben Blair to celebrate his birthday.
If you had 2 days in Paris, 5 kids, and a baby, what would you do? Anything we should add to this list?
P.S. — Maude and I had a wonderful time in London and I can’t wait to report on our trip as soon as I’m back at my desk.
