Everyone Is Beautiful by Katherine Center

Random House sent a copy of Katherine Center’s new book, Everyone is Beautiful. Katherine is a friend, so I was excited to receive it and I absolutely plowed through it.

At the beginning of the book, the main character is at the park with her three very young children, including a baby — a months-old baby. Another mother walks up and tries to start a friendly conversation by asking, “When are you due?” Our not-pregnant heroine is shocked and mortified. She knows she’s not back to pre-baby weight. But she doesn’t even want to imagine that she looks pregnant. She can’t bare to tell the truth and just makes up a date.

From that point on you know you’d want her for a bff. Know who else I want for a bff? Katherine Center

P.S. — More Katherine Center books.
