A free, easy Boredom Buster Idea. Click through!

It’s supposed to rain all week, but Ben Blair is really good at keeping the kids from getting bored. He comes up with little boredom buster activities to engage them and get them laughing. The other day, I was reminded one of his simple challenges and thought you might like to try it too. The idea is to replace the sounds in supercalafragilisticexpialidocious, with real words that have similar sounds.

I came across some of the best efforts by Ralph and Maude (ages 10 and 9 at the time) in some old notes and they made me smile:

Supper-camel-friend-elastic-expert-Alan-doe-thus

Psycho-caved in-fragile-lipstick-extend-Alan-ocean

Superb-caramel-friend-delicious-ex-out-Amy-throw-mush

Silly and fun, right? It’s a great activity for road trips too. Go ahead. Give it a try. And then leave a comment with what you come up with.
