This is the Albert Clock. It’s a clock that requires you to calculate the hours and minutes.
Axel Schindlbeck came up with the idea. It was one of 50 designs, and the concept was that it would turn classroom boredom into time spent improving mental calculation skills. It comes in 3 colors, and you can set it to 3 different levels of difficulty.
What do you think of it? Do you love it, or would it bug you? I know it was designed for a classroom, but I think it would be cool in a family room or kid’s bedroom too.
P.S. — A concrete clock.
