Happy Weekend! How are you, Friends? How is your summer going? This week has felt unusual at our house — but in good and happy ways. There was sailing camp, and swimming lessons, an atypical work schedule for me and the teens, house guests, and last night, Color Factory’s Opening Night Party!

I’m been sharing like crazy about Color Factory in my Instagram Stories if you’d like to see (they expire after 24 hours). I am completely obsessed with this place and am working on a full post about it. Definitely grab your tickets before they disappear.

Oscar is off to Scout Camp in a few hours, so I’m going to go make sure he’s all packed up, but here are a few things I’ve wanted to share with you:

Sperm count is down by 50%! But only in North America, Europe and Australia. What’s the cause?

The longest running advice columnist in history.

A neuropathologist examined the brains of 111 N.F.L. players — and 110 were found to have C.T.E., the degenerative disease linked to repeated blows to the head. (NYT)

A note to the Stitch-Fix stylist.

Fascinating new media news. Federal Court rules public officials can’t block people on social media.

Hah! The science of signing off emails.

A conversation about media burnout from ManRepeller’s editors.

Explaining Beyoncé’s public performance of pregnancy and motherhood.

An elderly Jewish woman who has become an atheist tries bacon for the first time.

Thoughts? There are 200 dead bodies on Mt. Everest — used as landmarks.

I hope you have the BEST weekend. I’ll meet you back here on Monday. I miss you already.
