What a funny week! I need to apologize for my crazy website. Can you believe how unstable it’s been? I upgraded my server this week — twice! The first time, the upgrade wasn’t big enough. Ugh. But I’ve been testing out server number two like crazy this morning. Uploading photos and commenting. And I think (I hope!) everything is in order.

So many of you sent sweet emails and tweets when you could see the site was having tech struggles this week. Thank you for the support. And most of all, thank you for your patience. I’m always touched by your kind words. While I fiddle around and double check everything, here a a few things I’ve been wanting to share with you:

-An article I wrote on how to live with toddlers and fine dishware simultaneously.
This cradle rocks! (Technically, all cradles rock, but this one does especially. Check it out.)
Dublin doors.
-Did you watch the season premiere of Modern Family? My favorite line was: It was delicious.
-What would you do with really big paper clips?
-My new favorite site is the Museum of Useful Things. (via SimpleSong)
Cardboard furniture.
-Aren’t those great images at top? They’re from the autumn issue of Small Magazine.
The Beardly made me laugh.

I write a daily column for Babble’s Family Style blog. Here are this week’s posts:
Design your own water bottle.
-Adorable boiled wool slippers.
-Protect your coffee table with this club sandwich.

I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend! Ben Blair is out of town visiting his parents — it’s my father-in-law’s 80th birthday. Happy Birthday to Robert Wallace Blair! I’ll see you guys back here on Monday. I miss you already.
