Hello, Friends. Our first week of summer vacation is coming to a close. Based on the number of popsicles/creamsicles/ice cream sandwiches consumed, I’m calling it a rousing success. Tomorrow, I’m looking forward to cleaning the maternity clothes out of my closet (don’t you love a good organization project?) and trying to coax a smile out of June. (Is it too early? I can never remember). In the meantime, here are some links I’ve been meaning to share with you.

-I’m in love with this image. Everything about it. The desk, the red bin, the school pennants, the chalkboard in the background, the colors and composition. I don’t think it’s meant to be art, but I want to frame it.

Organized chaos.

-Crazy cool aquarium birthday cake.

-I want her chicken coop.

-I’ve mentioned them before, but I can’t get enough of the images on Forever Is Today.

-Let’s make flower pancakes.

-Did you know about Flickr: The Commons? Me neither. Thank Ms. Pings for the introduction.

-Wouldn’t it be great if there was a Popbar down the street?

Four steps to breaking up with Bloglines. (My favorite quote from the article: “Set yourself up an account with Google if you don’t have one. I don’t judge you for not having one yet, and I hope you don’t judge me for never ever voting on any TV talent show.”)

-Pretty enough to inspire a foot fetish.

Traveling with a baby this summer? Marriott’s offering outlet covers, nightlights, baby shampoo…

-Update that summer wardrobe. Vintage Fringe is giving 20% off all orders over $100 until May 31st.

-Nice! A tutorial on making your own loom for a potholder rug.

Sweet thoughts on motherhood.

I hope you have a beautiful weekend. Think of the Blairs if you run through the sprinklers. We’ll be doing that too.

kisses, Gabrielle
