A Crush on COS Clothing featured by popular design blogger, Design Mom

I’ve been in Chicago for a few days, checking out the Method Factory (which is super cool and I can’t wait to tell you about it). Yesterday, I had the afternoon free and took the opportunity to walk along the river that goes through the middle of the city. Holy moly the city was GORGEOUS. I couldn’t stop taking pictures (check out my Instagram stories for a peek). I ended my walk at the lake, and then realized there was a COS nearby, and stopped in.

COS is a clothing line I first learned about when I lived in France. It’s owned by H&M, but it’s like a more sophisticated big sister — more refined, more edited, and yes, more expensive. In the time since we’ve moved back to the States, COS Clothing has come to America too. But weirdly, it’s not in San Francisco ( I say weirdly because I think it would do super well in the Bay Area), and I haven’t visited one in many years.

One thing I think COS Clothing does really well is dresses. They have a huge collection. Dozens and dozens. And though at first glance they may seem to have basic shapes, the designers are really good at adding in magical details that make each piece feel distinctive and special. Most options come in at least two color ways, and the majority have functional pockets! They also have a Mens department, and a smaller Kids department.

I went through the whole dress collection and picked out 12 of my favorites to highlight below.
