currency

Currency is a new app that beautifully and simply helps you make quick currency conversions while you’re traveling. I love this! It’s a great way to avoid the stress of international purchases. Or is that just me that gets totally stressed out when checking out in a foreign language with foreign currency? Here’s a little video that shows more about it.

Do you use Currency already? Or maybe you’re just a whiz at quickly calculating exchange rates. : ) Do you have any other favorite apps for traveling? I love Instagram, Days, Hopstop, and the new Google Maps.

I just downloaded it the other day & think it will be very useful when I travel outside the country. I love the clean interface!

I downloaded iTranslate for when we went on our holidays and had great fun before we went trying it out! But I was disappointed when I actually needed it, as I had turned data roaming off to make sure my bills were not huge but in doing this it meant I could only use my translate app when I was logged onto Wifi, which was normally at the hotel and after the event!

I’m always making use of my BBC weather app, and TripAdvisor is the best for booking somewhere to sleep :)

I’m not much for using apps, but my husband loves trying out the local apps for the train or bus systems. He’s also a fan of Google maps!
