A Few Things

tree lined road in France

Hello, Friends! How are you? I am feeling much better today. Thank you for all the advice and well-wishes. Made me feel well taken care of. We are having some gorgeous weather in Normandy this weekend. We’re thinking a trip to the beach sounds good. Or maybe a family bike ride.

Since the 4th of July happened on our first day of summer vacation, we’re still getting used to the idea that there’s really no more school! It finally feels like summer!! How about you? Any fun plans? I’m betting some of you traveled for the holiday and are enjoying family reunions this weekend. I hope you’re having fun, wherever you are.

While I clear out the empty tissue boxes, here are a few things I’ve wanted to share with you:

Redwood forest lumberjacks.

Homemade graham crackers.

- Karen Walrond’s TEDx talk on The Beauty of Different.

- Cute idea for upgrading basic paper party goods.

-Remember the Playdresses for Moms? You can score one at a big discount in the Sonnet James Kickstarter campaign.

- A new take on an All-American Cake.

- Simple, sweet, baby boy nursery.

- A sweet as can be birth announcement video.

- Adorable plates of food.

I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend. I’ll meet you back here on Monday. I miss you already.

So looking forward to the summer holidays! We’re off to the Loire Valley for the rest of the summer next week, I absolutely can’t wait!!! Only a few more deadlines until then and then pure relaxation!!

I make graham crackers too. Graham flour is just whole wheat flour. I like mine with cinnamon sugar on top: http://theprudenthomemaker.com/index.php/graham-crackers
