It’s A Wrap

April 26, 2013

By Gabrielle.

It’s that time of year – or hopefully nearly so if you’re still seeing white on your front lawn, poor you! – when the weather is growing warm enough to leave your coat at home, but still chilled enough to need an extra layer. I thought we could all use a scarf refresher. Remember this adorably genius tutorial?

As it is with any style, the best scarf style is always the one that seems effortless…but isn’t. My favorite is The Waterfall; it keeps the chill out! But The Decoration has so many possibilities, too. Which one is your go-to wrap?

P.S. – This scarf is a lovely one to wrap around you, and not just because it’s beautiful.

What a great collection of ways to wear your scarf. I do some of them, but many were new to me. I wear a scarf every single day in the winter as it keeps me warm so new ways to wear them is great.

I believe all the women (and many men!) on the street in Barcelona wear scarves. My teenage daughters and I love to scarf shop, which sometimes just involves a lot of looking. We also have our go-to scarves that work fine with everything, and we like to share. But I nevertheless find myself doing a little coveting here and there. A couple of our favorite boutiques downtown feature some unusual finds . . .

I am a complete “scarf girl”. Thank you for posting as I always have a bit of trouble with successfully tying a scarf in a stylish way. Love the grey one on top, by the way!

Awesome! As someone who never a wears a scarf outside winter (but would like to), this is just what I needed – lots of ideas and easy-t0-follow video to actually get there. Thanks!

Now to buy a scarf … or two … or :)
