On the Anthology site, I read about this Pop-Up Hotel. It’s a 20-foot recycled shipping container equipped with all the elements of a basic hotel — a comfortable mattress, air conditioning, and a shower. Four containers are connected together to create a sauna and lounge area. It’s currently in Antwerp, but it moves around.
What’s the most unusual place you’ve stayed while traveling? Would you stay in a pop-up hotel? You can see more about the hotel, and even book a room, here.

Wow that’s so creative! I would love to have one of these as extra bedrooms for guests lol.
That’s awesome! I agree it would be great to have as a guest house. ;) xo
Oh my God!! I love this!!! Happy Monday!
that would make a wonderful guest house.
and it looks nicer then many hotels I’ve stayed in!
I love this – would definitely stay there. I wrote a post about container homes a couple of years ago and it gets the most hits of any post I wrote bar none. I guess it is a popular topic.
i wonder if it will pop up around copenhagen…definitely would love to check this out. or then again, maybe i should just go to antwerp, i’d need a place to stay so it works out!
There are some cool “hotels” like this in the south of France. My husband and I have been dreaming about staying in one for years.
So cool! Unusual places I stayed while traveling were a convent in Italy and a former jail in Finland, but that one would definitely made the trick!
