The Van Heesch Co. copper bike is beautiful. It comes with handling gloves, a copper lock, and a velvet bag. Can you imagine cruising around on this sweetie? It’s too expensive for words, but that doesn’t stop me from staring at it with an open mouth.

Gorgeous! I fell in love with a mahogany bike once at the V&A – http://www.annabelvita.com/2011/09/09/mahogany-bike-by-sueshiro-sano/
I wouldn’t just need to have enough money to buy the bike. I would also need enough to pay someone to polish it for me.
does it come with a servant to keep it coppery? otherwise I’d have to get used to a greenish bike!
Hah! I hadn’t even thought of that. Of course! It would turn green so quickly.
That is stunning. I want one ;)
so pretty but the paranoia i would have now that it is common for thieves to strip copper from homes to sell to junkyards etc would outweigh any enjoyment.
My husband builds and designs cars and last year he made me a custom bike! It is so special and now he is finishing a three wheeler for himself with a space to attach our baby’s infant car seat! You can see them on my blog at the following links. http://lydiaburchett.blogspot.com/2012/01/merry-christmas-to-me.html

I see some copper spray paint in my future ;) It might not be as shiny, but it will be a lot more cheaper!
