If you don’t know Duvoisin’s book Donkey-Donkey, that’s a great one. One of my all-time favorite children’s books EVER. I kept my copy from when I was a kid and my 11-year-old daughter still reads it! I know I used to have Petunia, too, but it must have been lost somewhere in my growing up.

We love this story! It’s a favorite at bedtime and at Christmas, we always read Petunia’s Christmas which has a wonderful message of love.

I once read Petunia to a class of 10 & 11 year olds. It was the best description of having a “stiff neck” that I could imagine!
