That white dog is majestic! In our town they get put down within 3 days if nobody adopts them and it makes me sad.

More like he found me. He wiggled out of the gap between the gate of his pen and jumped into my lap. I was sold.

I am a frequent browser of petfinder (found my last 3 pets there, plus have helped friends and family find pets as well) and I often think that (1) it is such an amazing tool to connect homeless animals with people looking to adopt, and (2) some animals could have their adoption chances improved immensely if the shelter had someone willing and able to take more appealing photos of the pets. I have actually been wanting to volunteer to do this at my local shelters (I’m not a pro by any means, but I have a decent camera and know how to take decent pictures). It is wonderful to see someone doing this, and helping to get these lovely dogs adopted! They are gorgeous–a little skillful marketing was all they needed!

What beautiful, preconception smashing photos. Thank you for bringing them to attention!

I am photographically obsessed as well as having the need to rescue/help as many animals as possible (4 reside in our household). I think I need to do this!

I love that. Perhaps that should be my mantra for the year.

We are doing a fundraiser in our family for the Humane Society right now. These photos made me want to work harder on making it a big success.

Beautiful dogs. And a beautiful heart in the photographer who wants to help them.
