Custom clay face by Tuesday Bassen

By Koseli.

I recently had the chance to meet one of my favorite artists in person, Tuesday Bassen. (Coolest name ever!)  Not only did I love seeing her egg cups, Christmas ornaments, and drawings in one place at the Etsy holiday shop, but then being able to speak with her about them in-person made me love her goods even more.

Tuesday is a multi-talented artist but specializes in illustration and design. I love the humor and quirkiness in her style. Like so many handmade sellers, her goods are made from the heart and that originality, passion, and sincerity creates a special shopping experience that’s hard to get at a big box store.

Aren’t Tuesday’s cat eye glasses amazing? Follow  her process blog and Twitter for a peek into her life in Brooklyn, pictures of her adorable cat, Mischka, and unique new products in her Etsy shop.

P.S. — I was so lucky to see Tuesday’s handmade goods at the Etsy pop-up holiday shop in Soho.
