No. Way.
Design students Laurent Beirnaert, Pierre Bouvier and Paul Tubiana concocted this über-intricate popcorn making machine that — wait for it! — pops one exquisite kernel at a time. Buttered and salted, even. I imagine the commentary is partially about looking differently at a foodstuff that’s created quickly and in abundance and certainly without much thought. Possibly an unintended consequence, while I watched the video, I craved popcorn. (The video features a bunch of really cool student projects. The popcorn machine starts at 4:13.)
Didn’t your mouth water, too?

Wow! What a neat video! That knitting rocker is amazing! My son (6 yo) watched the whole thing with me, it was very cool!
Ha! The golden pencil company you linked to also sell golden (and silver) popcorn necklaces in their Etsy shop. Is it lunch yet?
