Hi Rachel
When you tie the pom pom you have to make that knot as tight as possible – REALLY tight. Then when you go to cut through the wool loops, the ball stays stable. It’s simple enough to trim the cut wool pieces to the same length but do this carefully.
Enjoy this, it’s a lovely craft.
