Blink. Blink.
During the Witte de Withstraat art festival in the Netherlands, Studio Vollaerszwart covered store fronts, pavement, apartment buildings, and even a few people with fluorescent polka dot stickers. Enchanting and dizzying at the same time, isn’t it?
Wouldn’t it make for a pretty cool — and much less messy — alternative to this?
P.S. — I still love these dots.

Ha! Love this!
Those photos remind me of the children’s book about dots — I think it was an I Can Read book and had a bear as the main character who could change the color of his spots or something? In any case, you’ve reminded me of it!
I haven’t heard of that one, Elizabeth. I’ll check it out!
We should all polka dot our cities…. and make things seem a bit less serious. Reminds me of the current Kusama dots on Louis Vuitton bags and stores. (though they are red or yellow and hot pink is much more fun).
