Painted Shelves

August 16, 2012

Don’t we all have boring shelving somewhere in our homes? It works just fine, but every time we pass it we find ourselves wishing that we could replace it with something a little more…grown up and substantial.

Look what Bri Emery has done with hers! Elevating the ordinary to a level of extraordinary with just some tape and a little paint. Cool, right?

P.S. —  While you’re at it, look at everything Bri Emery does; she leaves a trail of shiny ideas and unquenchable enthusiasm wherever she goes, and she always shares generously.

Such a clever idea. A little paint goes a long way into transforming something from drab to fab.

Not painting but re-papering today-my bathroom shelves…it’s a sort of open closet. I found a beautiful vinyl-ish mod pattern (wipeable) that peels on/off…never thought to try that. It was a “Marshall’s” find-for two large rolls – 4$!!! ♥
