Party Like A Pirate

April 4, 2012

I love a genius party theme just as much as I love stellar photography. Which is exactly why I wanted Eric Josjö’s work somewhere on my blog. Gold chocolate coins, a skull cake, beverages washed ashore and buried in the sand, and a treacherous plank for the naughty ones to walk! These pirate party shots are pretty close to perfection, aren’t they?

Circus themes can be tricky. Nearly every little one I know is frightened of clowns! Not true of strong men, tightrope walkers, not-so-ferocious tigers, and rabbits hopping out of giant hats. So cute, right?

Beautiful images found first on Tant Johanna, which led me to Eric’s breathtaking photography.

This truly looks more like a fashion spread than a real party! Beautiful images… and I am a sucker for kid’s party fun — who wouldn’t want to walk that plank!? (Yeah, for Sweden! fun to discover a local here!)

These parties look like dreams. I don’t know which looks like more fun, being a kid at the party, or putting together all of the great details. Great find!

We did a pirate and fairy party once. I’d love to do it again with this fresh inspiration.
