Party Like A Pirate

I love a genius party theme just as much as I love stellar photography. Which is exactly why I wanted Eric Josjö’s work somewhere on my blog. Gold chocolate coins, a skull cake, beverages washed ashore and buried in the sand, and a treacherous plank for the naughty ones to walk! These pirate party shots are pretty close to perfection, aren’t they?

Circus themes can be tricky. Nearly every little one I know is frightened of clowns! Not true of strong men, tightrope walkers, not-so-ferocious tigers, and rabbits hopping out of giant hats. So cute, right?

This truly looks more like a fashion spread than a real party! Beautiful images… and I am a sucker for kid’s party fun — who wouldn’t want to walk that plank!? (Yeah, for Sweden! fun to discover a local here!)

These parties look like dreams. I don’t know which looks like more fun, being a kid at the party, or putting together all of the great details. Great find!

We did a pirate and fairy party once. I’d love to do it again with this fresh inspiration.
