I Wish This Was

April 30, 2012

Is there an empty store front you walk by on your daily errands? Maybe an abandoned building that catches your eye? These stickers might get the people in your neighborhood and community thinking about the possibilities.

Just a little idea to start your week. What other interesting tidbits have caught your eye today?

That is so fun. There is an empty place down the street and I keep wishing it was a Trader Joe’s but after looking at the post I’m also wishing it was a French Bakery!

What I love about this is that it is HOPEFUL. We all need a big round spoonful of that – or more – often! Merci for sharing…

Love this! and also loved checking out the website. Fun to see all of the different responses and nice to read the story of how it started in New Orleans. I’ll keep my eyes open for them on our next trip home. Wonder if any wishes have been fulfilled…

It’s so cute. I just wish it were grammatically correct. It should say “I wish this were.” Bah. The editor in me never sleeps.

I can already think of so many places around our beloved, deserted city of Detroit, that could use these.

Yes! It’s hopeful, that is what makes it so wonderful and optimistic! Also, some of the ideas are funny! I love seeing this kind of pop up art. It gives people a voice.

Nice – made me smile and has got me thinking of all the things I could sticker and what I’d write on them!

I love this! I saw this on my block this morning and had no idea that this is happening across the globe. So cool.

What a really cute idea. I’m sure there are all kinds of places that these stickers could go up where the current economy has hit the hardest.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that was bugged by the grammar!
