For those of you with summer roadtrips on the horizon, Backseat A-B-See might be of help. My kids love playing alphabet spotting from the back seat. Yours too?
I have a very distinct childhood memory of nearing the end of the alphabet and thinking: where in the world are we going to find an X? And then feeling the rush of joy as I realized exit signs were a reliable part of the freeway.
It’s fun for me to think of how many people probably share that same memory. : )

My husband never played “The Alphabet Game” as a child so we play now – as adults! He experienced the same thrill at realizing the exit signs are great sources of “x” beyond Texaco and Exxon. :)
For tricky, hard-to-find letters, we rely on New Jersey license plates. They use all those letters regularly!
This is really cute and I think just right for our four-year-old. I just added it to our wishlist on Amazon. Thanks for the recommend!
Thanks so much for the post!
eXit. Perfect :-)
Design Mom rocks.
This is the right blog for anybody who would like to find out about this topic. You know a whole lot its almost tough to argue with you (not that I personally would want to…HaHa). You definitely put a fresh spin on a subject that has been discussed for many years. Great stuff, just excellent!|
