Wanted to say hello, as my family’s home was also featured on House Hunters International! Think our episode was called “village life in Bitburg, Germany.” What a crazy experience that was! I don’t think I’ve seen your episode, so I will try to watch it (in parts) on YouTube!

I have began to wonder lately if it’s a bad idea to boil things in plastic though. Might leach something into the food?!

My sister-in-law introduced us to them. It’s easy for each person to get exactly what they want in their eggs, and have as much egg as they like.

p.s. congrats on a sold-out ALT!

We’re wrapping prezzies, making a wreath out of the fresh Hydrangeas in the garden (it’s summer down here in Africa!) And spending some much-needed family time after a busy week.

My roommate and I are picking out a Christmas tree tomorrow and we’ll be decorating it and the house this weekend. We’re also going to see National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation at the movie theater! (I’ve never watched it before and apparently this is something that needs to be remedied.)

This weekend is my bachelorette party. I will be a Mrs. one week from today. I will spend Saturday morning at the Spa and the evening at five course cooking class with gourmet chef. Friends, family, relaxation, wine, food and fun. Perfection.

I will be in Paris in January for a week. So wished I would be able to see the Christmas Markets. There is always next year.

Shopping in Paris is always fun, though staying at home with a mug of hot cocoa sounds pretty divine too! Best from Copenhagen!

It’s not the pans or the room for me but about them all being finished at the same time. What a treat to be able to sit down with my guests. Usually I’m standing there making one at a time. Seriously, this could be life changing for me :)

Use a Sharpie to write names on the bags before you fill them.

Love this Friday’s roundup. As for faux fur, definitely a YAY, too cruel to get real fur. That vintage nursery room with the tree branch is a dream! I hope baby June feels better. I’m flying this week with my 7 month baby and praying she doesn’t get sick…

Enjoy your weekend, and see you Monday!
