Nile Hotel

July 28, 2011

For those of you feeling the travel bug today, how about this amazing hotel on the River Nile? From what I understand (via Google translate) there are 10 rooms and it travels from Luxor to Aswan. Doesn’t it sound romantic? Let’s go!

Looks unreal! My 5 year old son loves geography and Egypt is one of his favorite places to think about and draw. He was playing with his pyramids just this morning. I’ll have to show him these pictures.

I don’t have a lifelist, but if I did, Egypt would be on it. I’m dying to see the pyramids!

2 years ago, I went on a Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan!
The temples are beyond belief and Egypt is so beautiful.
We got an upgrade (woohoo!) to what was the King of Egypt’s old boat! It’s a steam engine and slowly chugging down the Nile at sunset, WOW.
I’d always wanted to go because of Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie and that boat was actually used for the TV adaptations. Luckily, no need for Poirot on our boat!
The boat you posted looks soo lovely though!!

Wow! That sounds like such a dreamy trip.

It looks a lot like how I pictured the boat in the book DEATH ON THE NILE by Agatha Christie! Gorgeous!

Sounds like I need to catch up on my Agatha Christie reading. : )

I’m seriously loving that little sink in the bathroom. Ah, I’ve been bested by a boat…

Their site is in English, only 2200 Euros for a room for two for 5 days. :)

Yikes! I didn’t dare look it up because I knew it would be expensive. I better save my pennies.

I wish I can live on that Nile too. So peaceful and the view was so delightful. I hope many viewers will like this also. Many thanks!

Did you ever read the Amelia Peabody books by Elizabeth Peters? She’s a Victorian archaeologist who travels up and down the Nile on boats like that and has adventures… I want to go too!
