This wooden “iPad” from Twig Creative made me smile. It’s a magnetic whiteboard and comes with a set of app magnets and an erasable marker. I wonder if my kids would use it to draw pictures of angry birds. : )

I saw that on Pinterest and thought it was really cool. My kids would draw Angry Birds for sure or Goo World, another favorite game.

Goo World? I’ll have to ask the kids if they’ve checked it out.

Oh my goodness, my kids love Goo World. They loved it too much actually – so we’re on hiatus :)

This is ridiculous. It’s just a whiteboard with some magnets. Best case scenario your kid will draw on it. Worst case scenario, your kid’s life long dream will be to own an iPad.

Just give your kid a sheet of paper to draw on. Or an ordinary whiteboard. That will probably cost you less than the 35 dollars you have to pay for this one.

I agree!! Who would pay $35 for this?!

I want one for me… it is so cute BUT it would totally freak my 2o monther… because really he needs a working ipad… his life would be over without his dad and his Sandra Boynton apps at bedtime!!!

I was thinking the same thing about Baby June. I wonder what she would do if she was handed this instead of the iPad. : )

I might be a little nervous about the kiddos taking the markers to the real thing… but I do think it’s pretty adorable!

Hah! Good point, Linnea. I hadn’t thought of that. Maybe it’s best for households with no iPad.

This is very cute!

I’m not sure my daughter would do too well with it after the big marker pen incident of 2010. One minute alone and she managed scribble all over her arms, legs, and tummy with permanent marker. Took a good two weeks to fully come off!!

Two weeks?! Oh dear. I hope there are lots of cute photos of the “incident”.

Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience with this company. I purchased two pair of earrings – both broke, and I was not compensated in any way for them. After two email exchanges, the owner decided to stop corresponding with me, and left me with unanswered questions on the matter. I was extremely disappointed and would warn anyone looking to buy jewelry from Twig. The items are way overpriced for the poor quality.
