Red Shoes

red polkadot shoes

How cute. These maryjanes are handmade in Spain of 100% leather — and they only come in red! I have a weakness for red shoes. I’m pretty sure if I buy the polka dotted beauties for my girls, they’ll inherit the same weakness. : )

I LOVE red shoes. I was excited when my 2 year old boy picked out red crocs recently :)

I have a pair of red mary janes that I bought years ago at DSW (of all places). They are broken, but I just can’t get rid of them!

What gorgeous shoes!!! And what a coincidence! I just received these babies yesterday from Zara: http://www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/uk/en/zara-S2011/61144/286542/BALLERINA%2BWITH%2BBRACELET%2BSTUDS

I inherited my love for all things red from my Mum and now my 14-month-old positively beams with pleasure when I show her the latest red addition to her wardrobe.

I love red so much, she was almost named Scarlet!!! Mm-hm – true story!

I love red shoes too! I don’t think it would be bad to transmit your red shoes weakness to your girls.

the question is, do they make these in my size (women’s 10)?! :)

If they did, would you pick the polka dot or plain? : )

I love them! They are so cheerful, in every situation. Matchy matchy or otherwise. I am also loving the striped socks. When staples are sturdy and longlasting, it is fun to add a punch because the staples are also often a little more plain as well.

The first pair of crib shoes my daughter ever wore were a pair of dark pink, almost red, paten leather, mary janes that I bought on clearance while pregnant. I loved them so much, I actually got sad when she started to outgrow them. I searched ebay and found the same shoes (originally sold at Gymboree) in the next two sizes up. I bougt them both, so for her first year of life she pretty much only wore these red shoes. I still have the original pair set aside to show her when she gets older.

I wrote a very short blog post back when I was just blogging for family to know what we were up to, so the writting is all about gas prices, but the picture is of the shoes.

I never considered wearing red (except for the letter A on my chest) until I saw those shoes. I want to live the life those shoes imply.

Ha, I also just got a pair of red saltwater sandals (for myself)! Unfortunately there are no girls in our family that are currently fitting the super sweet red/dotted shoes, but I can’t wait till Ava grows into them. They’re really adorable!!

I saw these http://www.spottedmoth.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35&products_id=479 and thought of this post. I thought they would make a lovely grown-up substitute. In fact I had been sad all day that I could not wear the mary janes, and now I’m just sad I don’t have the extra money to buy shoes at all.

I take that back, I just noticed they say to order a full size up. Now I can’t wear any of the pretty shoes. Oh well, I don’t really think red shoes go with my current wardrobe anyway.

I love those shoes! Don’t worry about your girls inheriting your red shoe love — it is in their genes…I am pretty certain. My son Eduard is 4 and 1/2 and crazy about red color — shoes, pants, toys, whatever. Guess what! I was the same way and still am. I feel great in red and surrounded by red and my son is just like that.
