Heart & Stone Giveaway

June 30, 2011

I’ve got two giveaways for you today and I’m quite sure you are going to love them both. For the first one, Heart & Stone Jewelry is offering a beautiful Tiny Tags Necklace!

Heart & Stone Jewelry Tiny Tags Necklace

The winner will receive a 2 tag necklace valued at $295! This is a design Heart & Stone created several years ago but it had a couple of complications, so the design was tabled. Several people begged them to bring it back and they’ve just about worked out the final details. The fact is, they’d love your feedback. You can read about the complications here and see what you think.

(Lucky you, you’re getting the very first sneak peek of the new design!)

To enter, visit Heart & Stone and leave a comment below. The winner will be announced on Monday.

P.S. — In case you’re wondering, the prize necklace doesn’t include rubies, sapphires, emeralds or diamonds — any other stones are A-OK.

Leslie is the lucky winner! Thanks for playing.

4 Amy June 30, 2011 at 5:35 am

My kids’ names are short! Four letters each! They’d be perfect for this necklace (which I love very much).

5 Lauren June 30, 2011 at 5:39 am

So cute :)

6 Diana June 30, 2011 at 5:44 am

9 MelissaT June 30, 2011 at 5:49 am

What a beautiful necklace! I’d love to put my two chillen’s names on it!

10 julianne June 30, 2011 at 5:50 am

I think they are lovely, but can see that the character limit and difficulty adding on could be a problem for their marketability. But it would be a great piece for someone with a child with a short name or nickname. And plenty of families choose a permanent form of birth control when they are done having kids so would not be concerned with the adding on issue.

I’d love to win one as a gift for my sister-in-law. The inscriptions would honor her youngest, our sweet baby niece, whose treatment for leukemia is failing. The doctors say she has about a month left. The first tag could have her 4-letter nickname (unrelated to her real name, given to her by her oldest sister when she was in utero) and the second her real name.

11 Beth T. July 1, 2011 at 12:58 am

Oh, Julianne, my heart goes out to you and your family. Sending much love your way.

17 Rebecca T. June 30, 2011 at 5:59 am

Beautiful!

18 Kristina June 30, 2011 at 6:05 am

They are beautiful pieces. I think that someone willing to pay for this will probably be willing to send the piece in for altering. The only problem I see is with the 5 letter limit. I do think there are ways around that, initials, for instance.

19 maura June 30, 2011 at 6:05 am

25 brittney June 30, 2011 at 6:13 am

i think these are darling, and i love the thought of putting all of my kids names on them, though that’s a lot of rings to stack.

26 AmyK June 30, 2011 at 6:14 am

I want to win!!

27 ean June 30, 2011 at 6:16 am

really cute!

28 vicki June 30, 2011 at 6:17 am

I love these kinds of necklaces. I wanted one when I had my son, but I didn’t know how to incorporate my 2 step kids…maybe they could share a charm?

I also love the “Be the Change” necklace on the Heart and Stone website. That’s my personal motto. :)

29 Kady June 30, 2011 at 6:18 am

How pretty. The story of how it came to be just makes it that much more interesting and special! Thanks for sharing Gabrielle!

38 Becky Sue June 30, 2011 at 6:29 am

It’s so clever and pretty!

39 Emily June 30, 2011 at 6:36 am

The character limitations would limit the market, but my kid has a short name, so I’m in!

40 Tansy June 30, 2011 at 6:38 am

Absolutely love the simplicity!

41 Jodie June 30, 2011 at 6:44 am

45 emily k m June 30, 2011 at 6:48 am

they are truly beautiful works of art!

46 sara June 30, 2011 at 6:48 am

I don’t have any jewelry that represents my children, this is just perfect!

47 Lisa W. June 30, 2011 at 6:51 am

I love this necklace!

48 Aliesha Fullerman June 30, 2011 at 6:52 am

I agree, the limited characters might be a problem for some, but my daughter has a short name, so I wouldnt mind. Plus, you could always just do initials for children/people with longer names. So pretty!

49 Leslie June 30, 2011 at 6:56 am

What a beautiful design! I’d love to win one.

50 Stacy June 30, 2011 at 6:58 am

Very nice design, i like that it layers…not quite as bulky as some out there.

51 Guinevere June 30, 2011 at 6:59 am

Lovely, and seems like it dresses up or down very nicely.

52 Christina June 30, 2011 at 7:00 am

fun and beautiful all in one!

53 Delia June 30, 2011 at 7:03 am

I’ve been eyeing necklaces like this to put my kids’ names on it. Would love to win this one, its beautiful!

54 Bri (like the cheese) June 30, 2011 at 7:04 am

I love it!
I don’t think sending it back to add tags later would be a problem. It’s part of creating an heirloom. One option for the smallest tag could be a monogram – either the person wearing it, or the husband & wife’s initials…

I’ve wanted something from heart & stone FOREVER!

55 Lynn June 30, 2011 at 7:09 am

Very beautiful! I’d love a necklace from them :)

56 Michelle G June 30, 2011 at 7:10 am

A modern mom’s necklace design….love it!

62 Valerie C June 30, 2011 at 7:19 am

Love the simplicity. Would love to wear it myself but I think that julianne should win. It would be a lovely memorial.

63 Amy Guillont June 30, 2011 at 7:20 am

I LOVE Heart and Stone’s jewelry in any form!

Oh yes please!!

70 Julie Kirby June 30, 2011 at 7:33 am

A super cool modern take on the old plastic charm necklace I used to wear. Love them!

71 Tabitha June 30, 2011 at 7:34 am

Love this design!

72 Beverly June 30, 2011 at 7:37 am

I’d love to put our names on them for our 30th anniversary in July. For that idea the name length would be alright, but my daughters’ names are too long.

73 Jennifer M. June 30, 2011 at 7:37 am

Very pretty! I like this necklace more than any other mom/child style I’ve seen. I wouldn’t mind having to send it back to get another tag. I also don’t mind that there is limited space for a name. I might just get first initials.

74 Miriam Sohlberg June 30, 2011 at 7:39 am

Very tasteful. I like the hammered, simple shape she gets with the silver, and the fonts for the engraving are nice. And, recycled silver is definitely a plus. We’re expecting our first (possibly only ) in August, and it would be wonderful to have this momento to add to other silver jewelry I wear daily. Having to add names to the necklace might be hard to remember to do, but no more hassle to go to the post office than go to the jeweler to add charms!

75 Christine June 30, 2011 at 7:40 am

These are beautiful. Thanks for the giveaway!

76 Bonnie June 30, 2011 at 7:41 am

Great idea! I like it!

77 Jaye June 30, 2011 at 7:42 am

Very sweet.

78 Becca June 30, 2011 at 7:43 am

I have been looking for something exactly like these tags, each tag with a child’s birthstone and engraved/stamped/etc. with the date their adoption was finalized, plus one with my husband’s birthstone and our wedding date. But I had bracelet charms in mind, rather than a necklace. I would absolutely buy these if I could buy them individually, without the chain, and all four tags the same length.

79 Becca June 30, 2011 at 7:46 am

P.S. I much prefer the font and the clean, engraved look of the letters/numbers over the hand-made, stamped look of so many of the custom jewelry that’s available right now. This is just more my style, and I think more classic.

80 Carl June 30, 2011 at 7:50 am

Absolutely beautiful pieces. I love the style.

81 Senora H-B June 30, 2011 at 7:52 am

84 Maya June 30, 2011 at 8:00 am

yes, please!

85 Jen in TX June 30, 2011 at 8:01 am

Two tags would be perfect, for my two sons. How beautiful!

86 NolaLeBlanc June 30, 2011 at 8:01 am

I love the idea that it lays flat. As for the space limitations, you can always do initials. My daughter goes by her first and middle name and we have been battling space limitations in monogramming since birth.

87 Jodi June 30, 2011 at 8:07 am

I love that the names are hidden…such a sweet design element, like peek-a-boo!

88 Ashley Rae June 30, 2011 at 8:08 am
