Good morning, Friends! Here’s some pretty breakfast to start your day.

Also. I love this behind-the-scenes shot of the video being created (see lots more here):

Thanks for the link, Sarah.

Oooo!! That was SO COOL. Now I’m off to eat *my* breakfast. I wonder if it will fly off the table, too? ;)

There’s something really awesome about food mid-air!

That is so cool. I wonder how they did that? (And am I the only one who cringes for the production assistant who has to clean up the mess?)

I was thinking about the mess too! I’ve been a mom for too long. : )

Oh, good! I guess I’ve been a mom too long, too. Glad to hear I wasn’t the only one to go into MOM MODE when I saw the milk and coffee flying! :)

My daughters and I loved watching this! At the end, my 4 yo said, “That should not have happened…”

I totally cringed at the mess! And I cannot figure out how they did that first scene, where you see the table (steady) and all the food floating up into the air. Great video!

Hi Jaimie! Marlin links to a how-it-was-made video below. So neat!

I love this! I think my favorite part is the syrup between the pancakes, the way they sort of stay connected. I would love to show my kids, but I don’t want them getting any funny ideas!

Wonderful! I love that (in the behind the scenes stuff) that the only one who figured an apron might be useful was . . . a woman.

Bingo! Hilarious. :)

Loved the video, but especially loved the link to the behind the scenes stuff. Was so intrigued by how they created the scene. Very cool!

Simply stunning! Now, please excuse me while I attempt to find a breakfast restaurant still open at 3:22pm….

Very cool. I just watched this with my daughter (4 yrs old). At the end she said, “I wonder if their Mom is going to be really mad?”

Love it! Definitely sharing with my kiddo tonight after watch Neil Armstrong bounce around on the moon (he’s in a planets/space kick right now).

This definitely looks cool, but I kind of hate to see such lovely food wasted. Maybe I’m just a downer, but I couldn’t stop thinking of how strange and wasteful this would appear to someone who consistently struggles to have enough to eat.

For the love of pete! At first I was thinking, “Who has the time for this and what purpose does it serve?” And after some investigating it turns out is it was/is an event at The Art Institute of Chicago! Imagine if we harnessed creativity such as this to combat hunger….back to my bowl of Multi-Grain Cheerios. Sigh.

A very interesting video! I must say the pancakes with the dripping syrup and the music to go along with it made me want to study my pancakes in the morning! Ha =)
