Did I tell you I’ve become a Polarn O. Pyret groupie? Santa brought a few pieces for the kids and I’m super impressed. Everything seems so sturdy and well made. In these pictures, Betty is showing off her stripey wellies (which she basically wears every single day), and the tiered flounce dress (which has already been washed 6 different times and still looks great).
Go get in on the action — their huge winter sale is going on right this minute. Oscar has had a growth spurt and needs a new winter coat, so I’m off to shop…
UPDATE: use the code DESIGNPOP for free shipping from now until Thursday. Sweet!

I am a HUGE fan of polaren o pyret too! They do stripes for kids like no other! Love the wellies. I need a pair! thecoolkidsblog.com
It’s true! They rule stripes for kids.
Love the wellies! My son needs a new pair. He recently learned the hard way that wellies do not = snow boots. : )
Hah! That’s a cold lesson to learn.
umm $142 for a winter coat! that is more than a bit high for a quality, well-designed coat
Crossing my fingers it will go on sale soon. : )
Those boots are the absolute sweetest!
Love those wellies!!!

Those wellies are gorgeous! So cute x
I L.O.V.E. rainboots. I’m going to have to check out that website — I’ve never heard of it before!
I hade no idea that you could buy Polarn o Pyret in the US! Here in Sweden there are PoP-shops in most cities. My kids are teenagers now, but my sister and her husband buy most of their small kids clothes there.T he stripes are lovely and Pop-clothes have such a “clean” look.
The links didn’t work for me…
I think you crashed their server! The true sign of influence in this day and age…
I am a huge fan great well made clothes for kids who live in extreme environments. The rain coats would be perfect for France.
You’re right, Betsy! Instead of a winter coat, I should be shopping for rain jackets. : )
thanks so much for the code! alas, it doesn’t seem to be working? i’m getting this message:
Coupon Code ‘DESIGNPOP’ is invalid.
Mysterious, Jen. I will email Polarn O. Pyret and see if they have any helpful hints.
i think you should get a bonus for crashing their site. i should be frustrated but i am sitting here chuckling to myself.

Betty for president!! When I grow up I want to be as well dressed as Betty Blair.
My four month old Quinn might have a little bit of an addiction to P.O.P. :) The fabric is so amazing, the quality is great & the stripes / styles are perfectly boyish. Love.
Luckily, I follow them on Facebook & always try to take advantage of their sales – which are relatively often. And I just went to their NYC sample sale & bought enough clothes to get through the next two seasons (!!).
I am a big groupie myself, but I am a bit biased since they are from my home country.
adorable!!
xo
I love them too – colourful and fun.
Have a nice day,
greetings from Copenhagen
Love the boots (and the word “wellies”)

I’m a huge fan of polarn.o.pyret too! My parents-in-law like to travel to Sweden and brought some clothes for our son. Since that I was in love .)
Now I like to travel to Sweden too… for shopping :) Once every year :)
Thanks for the tip! I got my 18 month old an ADORABLE plaid vest! Now he’s all ready for court, or slinging drinks at an old-timey saloon. And my 3 year old is definitely going to enjoy the puddle jumping in his whale wellies!
I LOVE that we’re on the same page (no pun intended) mom-wise! Keep um coming!
Love that last picture – she’s lovely.
Polarn O. Pyret is currently running a deal with the Swedish School for Children in DC as part of the school’s fundraising, which is open to anyone (web store is at: http://www.polarnopyretusa.com). The deal is a $40 gift certificate for $20. The school’s website has info how to get it online: http://www.svenskaskolanwashingtondc.org/en
I’m having trouble with the promo code too. Oh well.
Nevermind! Just realized this post is a year old!
