Homemade Spacecraft

October 6, 2010

Homemade Spacecraft from Luke Geissbuhler on Vimeo. Oh my goodness! I think this man should win some sort of “coolest dad” award. The video is longish (7 min), but totally worth your while. So amazing! Thanks for the link, Jared. Share and Enjoy:

Book of the Week: Kitten’s First Full Moon

October 5, 2010

Have you ever read Kitten’s First Full Moon by Kevin Henkes? It’s such a sweet simple story about a kitten’s attempt to get that giant bowl of milk in the sky. And the whole thing is done in black and white! My kids love this one. Share and Enjoy:

Gadanke Journals

October 5, 2010

Craving an off-line journal? I like what I see from Gadanke. Their books are handmade and they’re filled with writing prompts, pockets and special papers. They offer baby books, travel journals, even a doodle book. I’m putting these on the gift list for my introspective tween. Do you keep a journal? Do your kids? Sadly, [...]

Optical Illusion Tape

October 5, 2010

My morning was spent with Oscar at the dentist. Poor Oscar. His teeth are literally rotting out of his mouth. Mostly, it’s just [...]

Greek Salad

October 4, 2010

A Few Things

October 1, 2010

Hello friends! Any fun plans for the weekend? I’m in the mood to take it easy. We will be watching General Conference and decorating for Halloween. Possibly we will make pumpkin cookies. If I get really lucky, I will fit in a long luxurious nap! While we spook out our house, here are a few things [...]

Hello October!

October 1, 2010

I’m so glad it’s October. Here’s a Halloween post to mark the occasion. How do you like these more-sweet-than-scary Halloween bags? You can find them at Smidgebox. If I had one, I’d fill it with my favorite Halloween books. Or pounds and pounds of candy corn. : ) P.S. — Isn’t is fun to start [...]
