ABC Party

October 12, 2010

Damaris threw an ABC party for her son Enzo and she made the alphabet from food. So bright and fun! G is for grapes. K is for kiwi. (She says in Brazil, if you see X on the menu, it means cheese.) I’m betting Enzo and his friends had a wonderful time. Isn’t that a cute party idea? It would be perfect for a rainy day project too.

Have you ever thrown a party for your kids just because? Or are you a parties-for-birthdays-only kind of gal?

I love throwing parties! I would defintely do it more often if I had the time but with working full time right now….that is out.:) But I adore a unique party! So fun.

I throw “just because ” parties all the time. Usually they’re animal themed (as per my 6 year olds request) and very low effort on my part. Last week we through a pen-pal party since we’ll be moving in a few days and we wanted to make sure to stay in touch. It was a nice (easy!) way to say “see ya later” to all our friends.

So clever! And such a creative way to make food fun for little ones. I’m all for finding ways to get my toddler to try new foods. :)

I hadn’t thought of that, Suzanne! A brilliant way to introduce new foods.

That is so fun! Individual photos of each “letter” would make a great alphabet flip book for little ones.

Oh this is marvelous! I bet the kids loved it. I love the idea of simply celebrating without a birthday. I think it teaches kids to just enjoy life and savor and celebrate as a lifestyle.

I love it! Great idea! I throw End of Summer Kids Parties for no reason every year, I also do an Easter Egg Hunt party for my daughter and all her friends every year… (but I guess for that one the reason is Easter :P)

Quite an interesting puzzle game for kids! Perfect! I currently preparing my children for school and would like to ask you a few question in these regards. So, what do you think about such educational iPhone game as Kinder Hangman – http://sharkfuel.com/kinderhangman.html Is this game really so helpful for developing skills of kids? I am a mother myself, so just would like to know if this game can help me repare kids for school? Any ideas? Your opinion is highly appreciated. Thanks.
