I gasped when I saw this fingerprint cut-paper art by Lori Danelle. Amazing. I’d like to have my daughters’ fingerprints made on bright paper for their bedroom.

um wow.
those are beautiful….
What a creative idea from something so simple! They would be cool with a contrast color behind, too. It could be a neat ‘family tree’ type thing, too. Or Christmas ornaments. What a fun way to celebrate individuality and family all in one.
LOVE this
These are so neat! And here’s something funny: my name is Lori, and my husband’s name is- guess- Nate! So of course I love the last one the best : )
wow meticulous work but such a great idea!
I love this, too! Cannot even imagine being that meticulous and detail-oriented, though. Wow.
Thanks to all for the lovely comments!! You have no idea the smile you put on my face with your kind words!
However, Barchbo, I just need to make sure you know that my office is a disaster zone. Meticulous & detail-oriented? Perhaps. But organized I am not! I suppose those traits don’t translate to everything!! :) Besides, if I put it all away, I’d never be able to find anything. . .
i saw this on another blog. i don’t remember where. i too gasped the first time i saw it. i’m gasping again.
I love them!!
Incredible!!!
Wow, what detail! These are great.
aMAZing!
holy buckets, those are amazing! I thought at first glance they were printed. But lasercut? Me want! : )
Hang on a minute. I just clicked over to her shop. CUT BY HAND?!?! Now I want them even more…
I am SOOOOO excited that you have featured these! Lori is a good friend of mine! Everything that she does is amazing (have you seen her pallet beds?) and these paper cuttings are no exception. Yes, she puts hours into them and cuts them by hand with her exacto knife. They are truly amazing!
I LOVE this and love your blog! I always find the best, most creative ideas! And because I think you’re fabulous, I nominated you for the versatile blogger award. Check it out if you get a chance!

Those are brilliant!
you find the best things.
loved reading what Lori had to say. just can’t imagine that kind of patience with an exacto.
These are truly awesome. Can’t believe she cuts by hand with an x-acto knife. So very impressive!
Saw this though Design*Sponge last week and my jaw dropped. And I think it’s still hanging. AMAZING.
LOVE THIS.
Thanks for sharing! Such a clever idea and paper cutting is just such a beautiful art.
Hope you don’t mind but I featured Lori’s work on my blog too (linked to you of course!) as I just blogged about my love of paper cut work. Check it out…there are so many talented artists in this field. http://www.thingsilikeblog.com
Keep up the great work with your blog.

These are awesome..I have to have one for my son’s room. He is a toddler and the letters we have up spelling his name are cute but we have had them since his nursery and these fingerprint prints seem a little more hip ;)
