What is it, you ask? Well, at the big Gala that Kirtsy put on during the BlogHer conference, there were 80+ works of art on display. Which was cool. But even cooler? Each art piece was based on the Voices of the Year nominated posts, and the collaborations are fantastic. Coolest of all? Part 2 of the Gala is happening right now. The art is being auctioned off! With 100% of proceeds going to the Nature Conservancy, to aid in Gulf cleanup.

The auction is happening over four weeks based on four Voices of the Year categories. The Life category auction went live last week. (All the amazing photos in this post are from the Life category — and they’re only open for bidding for a couple more days!!) A new category will go live today.
This is a great opportunity to add an art piece to your collection from some of the most creative bloggers out there — like Ree of Pioneer Woman and Karen of Chookooloonks and Megan of NotMartha. Fantastic! Plus, you’ll be donating to a great cause at the same time.
