What is it about having a baby and haircuts! My little one is 7 months and I recently cut ALL my hair off ala Haley Barry! I see some other mothers did the same. I say go for it girl – it feels great. Love the cut you picked.

I read your post but didn’t comment. Then the mail carrier delivered a J. Crew catalog and it got me thinking about you and your hair. I agree that you should just go for it! You said you do go super short so if this style doesn’t work for you, you can always go shorter to a style you’re more comfortable with. Can’t wait to see you model your new ‘do’!

Ooh – do it! You can definitely pull this off – your face has gorgeous bone structure, so you could probably rock any hairstyle you want. BTW, I would kill to have the hair for this style. I have mid length hair (the straight version) and I LOVE it. All the style of a short cut but the versatility of long hair. I think you’ll like it. :)

I’m a Curly too, and I have the same sentiment. I always feel like mine looks too “sweet” when it’s midlength as opposed to long. But my curls are much tighter than this model’s.

I echo all the support for the “yes” crowd. I have a friend who has crazily thick, spirally-curly hair, even curlier than yours. And she was in the same camp as you. But she has recently gone to that middle length, and with some shaping (and thinning), a diffuser, and gel, it looks great. Yours will, too.

My favorite easy hairdo is piggy tails! It works best for my straight plain jane haircut! But I think this option you mention will work fabulously for your hair! GO FOR IT! ;)
