Have you visited Good Look Cookbook? It’s a new site where six “chefs” put together “design recipes” — inspirations, tools and instructions to achieve a certain look. What a cool idea! One of my favorite recipes so far: custom retro bookplates.
Seems like this would be a great resource if you’re teaching yourself graphic design, or looking for simple, fun projects. What about you? Do you find these recipes helpful? Do you like being able to see how a designer puts something together?

I love the concept of Good Luck Cookbook. I’m such a design novice, I appreciate any advice I can get.

On a completely different note, I just saw in the sidebar that you #nerdalert’ed your own kid. Hilarious!
