My favorite ways to go green: use all natural cleaning products. Vinegar actually does a variety of household cleaning projects. Recycle. Donate all used clothing and toys to less fortunate. Recycle dry cleaning hangers and paint at appropriate facilities. Shop consignment stores for home goods.
I try to do the little things, but I haven’t let go of my regular cleaners yet. Maybe this is the gentle nudge I need to go green there too. Thanks!

My green habit is limiting my driving. I try to do all my shopping in one day.
My favorite green cleaning tip is boiling spices (like cinnamon, cloves, and maybe some orange peel) on the stove instead of spraying harsh air fresheners to keep our house smelling lovely.
Last year I switched from paper napkins to cloth napkins, and it was such an easy change. Now I’m trying to do the same for paper towels.

I’m totally with you – I will try anything Martha. I just picked up a couple of kitchen gadgets from her line at Macy’s and they are fantastic. These cleaning products are so nicely packaged – love that they’re recyclable and that the products themselves are earth-friendly.
