Vintage Slip

March 25, 2010

I can’t remember where I found this image of a vintage slip, made fresh with some hand embroidery (I’m thinking it’s from an etsy shop that I’ve long lost track of). But I think it’s so charming. Something about it reminds me of Nie Nie. Do you read her?

I do indeed read Nienie. She is in my top 3 blogs to read, pretty much! It reminds me of Nienie too. I think it’s it the way it’s vintage and classic, like her style, but then romantic and fun, like her lovely relationship with Mr Nielson! xx

I started reading her because you mentioned her a long time ago, pre-accident on your blog. We should find the slip and send it to her as a present.

Of course. Nie Nie. She is an absolute doll. Every time I visit Provo, I wonder if I’ll bump into her or one of her vast array of family members. {We are LDS, too, as Nie Nie and her family are, and I keep hoping our paths will cross somewhere, sometime.}

Sweet slip. I need one of those about right now…

I saw Nie Nie on Oprah, but didn’t know she had a blog until you mentioned her. I’ve been reading it since. I love it! Thanks for mentioning.
