Beautiful pictures, and I love those hanboks! I got one as a gift for my wedding, and my daughter got one for her first birthday, but the common ones you see (like the ones we have) are much bolder colors--red and green and pink and yellow and turquoise... They are nice, but these muted ones are so much more pleasing to me. The form of the hanbok is so graceful, I think it looks best in quiet colors.

My son is a Korean Adoptee, so we try to include as much as his heritage in our lives as possible... I use that as the ideal reason to get Korean Vogue whenever I can! Love these images in particular. I don't know if you know this, but these women are dressed in hanboks, which are traditional Korean dresses. (The men have a version as well) They are usually worn on Seollal (Lunar New Year) as well as a couple of other holidays.
