Custom Toy Portrait Giveaway

March 18, 2010

Oh. I love today’s giveaway. Jennifer Maher is offering custom toy portraits for a lucky winner — one 8″x10″ and one 5″x7″ — a total value of $165. Isn’t that fantastic? Two original works of art — they could inspire a whole gallery wall. How does it work: snap a photo of your child’s favorite toy and Jennifer will magically transfer it into high art. For reals.

I love Jennifer’s style and I love the idea of capturing one or two of my child’s favorite objects — capturing a snapshot of their childhood — in a painting. Talk about an heirloom! You know you’ll be handing these pieces of art down to your own children as they put together nurseries for your grandkids. And Jennifer’s prices are totally reasonable for custom art. Take a look.

To enter the giveaway, leave a comment below. The winner will be announced on Monday. Good luck!

Congratulations to Jon and Sarah! You are the lucky winner. Enjoy your paintings.

it would be tough deciding between my daughter's "gigi" (giraffe) or "woofwoof". to be fair, we'd probably have to include them both… :)

4 The Stout Family March 18, 2010 at 4:15 pm

Oh my, can she make a little boom box look cute in a drawing? Why can't my little boy like original things like a little giraffe? Oh well, i will never forget the memories and dances we have made with the boom box..

I love this! My 2 yr old daughter cant spend a nap or bedtime away from "ni-Night". My brothers baby blanket (he's 19 now) We're sadly watching it denigrate with every wash. I should take some high quality photos of it before it dies and have them transferred to canvas…. So that when she's too big for whats left of him we'll have some great art.

Does she paint blankets??
