We've used our base in France to do lots of traveling. It's addictive! Here are some of our adventures:
A trip to Amsterdam.
Canoeing on the Dordogne River.
A Belgian Waffle Tour.
A wintery visit to Cologne.
Three cheers for Barcelona!
The tulip fields in Holland.
We saw the final match of the French Open.
One of our favorite spots is Mont St. Michel.

I already got an advent calendar for the kids (we hang it on the refrigerator); but I never get to open the doors. Maybe, if I order this one to keep on my desk, I can finally open some doors!
This is really cute…but growing up I had a great-aunt who always sent my family an Advent calendar with chocolate from Germany behind each door. Hard to beat that!

I adore advent calendars. So far I've got 4 for this year. One for work, one for each of my boys, one with pockets to hang on the wall and discover little goodies from "the elves" each morning… And I'm not opposed to picking up a few more before the 1st of December rolls around!
