Raggedy Anne’s my fav but I’m partial to redheads! :) I can’t imagine putting together costumes for 5 (now 6) kids. You must have to start in July! I had a hard enough time this year with 2.
Here’s Zach’s ‘Max’ costume I made last year: http://boldmom.com/2010/10/27/max-wolf-suit/

What my grandma did for my cousin who always wanted to dress up super fancy (e.g., good witch, princess) was to clear out the prom and bridesmaid dresses at the thrift stores and then alter them to the little kid size (think elastic, velcro instead of zippers and knocking off 20" of material from the bottoms).

My newborn (2 wks old) was a candy corn this year. Remnant fleece from the bargain bin and I have enough left over for a whole nother costume!

I'm loving your Raggedy Ann – hmmmm…maybe next year for my little girl…never to early to start planning….

Halloween is slowly catching on here in Germany…. We got a few trick-or-treaters and one bunch serenaded us with a song and another did a rhyme for us!
