Did I tell you what Ben Blair gave me for my birthday? This rad watch.
When the hip girls from Brooklyn would move to my neighborhood in New York, I would study them for the latest in cool. Amy Palmer, who is effortlessly stylish, would wear a Casio. Or sometimes a calculator watch (remember those?).

YESSS! I'm stylish, finally. Wait... does it count if I'm wearing the cheapy black rubber version and have been since I was about 8 years old? My watch tan line is blinding! I also feel rather dangerous, knowing the name of my watch is "THE ILLUMINATOR". Maybe when this sucker dies I'll upgrade to your swanky version ;) Does your's tell you what day of the week it is? Having small children I kinda find that function amusingly useful.
Oh my goodness...I had THAT watch, well actually I still do but I don't wear it...hmmm it is vintage now isn't it? I also had that very same issue of Seventeen-I remember how I couldn't wait for the new issues to be released! Ohhhh remember Bonne Bell and Love's Baby Soft!

Aaahh, this watch takes me back to a time I'm not sure I want to remember. Very groovy nonetheless.
Amy Palmer is the coolest. I used to try and shop with her as often as possible just hoping some of that style would brush off on me. I'm still waiting.
