Multi-Color Search Lab

Want to have a whole bunch of visual fun? Go visit the Multicolr Search Lab. Click on a color at right and watch as it accesses creative commons photos on flickr that match the color. Playing with this makes me so happy. No really. So dang happy.

Thanks for the link, Laurie!

That is a lot of fun. I love that so many pictures are things provided by nature.

You should be careful if you are letting your kids play with it. On the very first color choice it had a woman naked except for a bikini bottom. In the next color choice I saw her again in another position. This is not anything I want to look at and especially not my children.

WOW-so cool. I smell some projects coming on. Thanks. Good to know about the nakey women though-I'll watch out for that and won't do it when my kiddo is around. Maybe there's a way to filter choices?

omg. i am in love with this service.

have you ever tried compfight.com?

It searches Flickr by tag and text and you can turn on commercial creative commons.

same principle but using meta instead of color.
