Are you busy with Thanksgiving preparations? Me too. I had our knives sharpened a couple of weeks ago, and just picked them up on Saturday. Time to check the linens...

Me too - panicked at all there is to do! (that's why I'm checking blogs instead of working)
Yes, preparations are well underway!
Of course, I have to take time to post on my blog about it and check other blogs as well. It wouldn't be a holiday without a little procrastination.
P.S. You were so smart to have your knives sharpened!
I'm going to spend this evening ironing napkins and polishing silver. I start cooking tomorrow!

Where do you get your knives sharpened?
Fun to hear about everyone's preparations! Niwi, I got my knives sharpened at a store called Chef Central -- I asked my foodie sister-in-law for a good recommendation in my area.

I'm definitely busy with preparing for Thanksgiving, but this year will be the first that I'm in charge of the meal. I'd love to know what you're planning!
I am so impressed, b/c I often wonder how you keep up with all of the demands of your daily life, family and work, and to me, remembering to get knives sharpened and then actually doing it? That's amazing. I only have ONE child, and we're still often at the "oh shoot, we ran out of toilet paper...again" level of disarray. I really must get my act together somehow!
