Goodbye Salt Lake City

November 10, 2008

It feels like there was a week’s worth of events and learning packed into my very short trip to Salt Lake City for the Startup Princess retreat. It was a really good trip.

Over the next couple of weeks I’ll make sure to introduce you to some of the vendors, entrepreneurs and experts that I was able to meet and hang out with. This was an amazing group, with great energy and lots of ideas. They provided me with a month’s worth of blog content. I swear.

In the meantime, you can read writeups about the weekend at Gwen Bell’s blog — including a role call of everyone who attended the MeetUp on Saturday night. At Sarah Jane’s blog. And at Holly Buchanan’s blog.

Plus, Sarah Bray, who was supposed to present at the retreat, but had flight complications, made a video of her 2009 Web Predictions so that we wouldn’t be so darned bummed about missing her presentation. Thank you Sarah!

Also, if you want to see what was twittered about the event, go to search.twitter.com and type in #princess.

I’m still on cloud nine from being at this great retreat. Gabrielle, thank you sooo much for taking time away from your family to share the magic. Meeting you and all the other fab ladies has really made a huge difference in my life. (Just so you know!)
Thanks!

Gabrielle, what a sparkly Fairy Godmother you are, and I love it that you went from Startup Princess straight to Disneyworld, so glad we gave you a magic wand before you left. ;) Your kids must be in heaven!! Thank you for making it work in your schedule to be with us, we all love you for it. The content was awesome and we appreciated getting inside your head and hanging out with you.

Hope to see you again soon.
Thanks for making my wish happen.
xoxo
Kelly
