Flower Shop — by Guest Mom Rochelle

November 17, 2008

I love the kids stuff that comes out of France. When I saw this mini flower shop on Madame La Marchande, I fell in love, then quickly realized getting it shipped here was out of the question. So I’ve been considering how to make my own version. Here is what I came up with:

1) Paper parasols at Luna Bazaar.
2) Silk flowers from any local craft shop.
3) Cute watering can from Spotty Boxes.
4) French Flower Buckets from Flowers and Supplies.
5) Either of these two Ikea tables will work — the Hemnes table is almost a perfect match, and the Dalom table (which is much less expensive) would work as well.

I’m so excited to try and put this together!

This is adorable…stunning…and making me want to set up a flower stand for my daughter right about now. I wonder if you could come up with a party theme around this little set up.

And yes, I agree with you…everything coming out of France is fabulous…can’t wait to head back in March!

How completely adorable. You found great replica items. Will you post pictures of the final product?! I’d love to see (as I’m sure everyone would :) )

That’s just brilliant. I might add a sweet little chalk board somewhere so kids can do that adorable writing they do, making signs and price tags and such.
I can’t wait to see it!
