Rainbow Jello

Is it the warmer weather? Because I'm totally craving Jell-O. Look at this pretty rainbow stuff. Only three flavors, but the color wheel does it's thing and makes the whole spectrum. Mmmm. I bet my kids would love to make this.

College memory: the Design Department held a big party for National Jell-O Day. Everyone wore nametags that said Hell-O. Oh-so-edgy for my very conservative university.

we used to call this "geology jell-o" it's a little nerdy :), but we really think this stuff is a fun idea.

I can only imagine who's idea it was to celebrate a holiday like that. It couldn't have been Adrian.

I love this idea, I think it is super cute. The kids I care for will love it, too. I'm going to link this to my blog!

I will have to try this for my little guy who likes jello. My oldest does not care for it, but what fun it looks like.

Chad, Lindsay, May May — I don't remember who's idea it was, but I do remember that Adrian was fully supportive. He even entered some Jell-O into the competition.

If I remember correctly, his concoction featured vintage Ball Jars with alphabet pasta floating in orange Jell-O. When making his presentation, Adrian had us try to determine the font the alphabet pasta was made of. (It was Frutiger.)

Hilarious! Pasta in Jell-O, disgusting but lovely I'm sure. Besides, what is Jell-O without typography? I never thought I would say this, but you're kind of making me miss the design department.

I wish Jell-o were vegetarian because this looks perfect for a Spring picnic.

I was infatuated with a guy who was a graphic design major and I followed him to a Hell-o Jell-o party one year. Since I wasn't a design major I don't know if they did it more than one year or not. You guys were all so cool in an off-the-wall way.

Oh how wonderful! I found your blog a few weeks ago and didn't realize until now that you are a BYU grad! (And it looks like you know at least one of my former classmates, Lindsay.)
I must say, recently I have felt a little discouraged at the idea of being a designer AND a mom. But if you can do it—AND make it in New York—then surely so can I, where ever I end up. You have given me hope and encouragement to keep on.

Thank you for your blog.
