The Intersection of Design & Motherhood
There is nothing better every day than being a father. Except for maybe being a mother (because my kids always like mom more). But I just simply could not keep up with all of you. So I’ll settle for #2.
Gabby, thanks for letting me play in your space this week. Your blog is beautiful, hip and inspiring. I’m sure many of your readers have no idea how amazing Design Mom is in real life. I’m one of the lucky ones.

We've used our base in France to do lots of traveling. It's addictive! Here are some of our adventures:
A trip to Amsterdam.
Canoeing on the Dordogne River.
A Belgian Waffle Tour.
A wintery visit to Cologne.
Three cheers for Barcelona!
The tulip fields in Holland.
We saw the final match of the French Open.
One of our favorite spots is Mont St. Michel.

love the picture…my husband wore those vans as a child and i have a pair now…we have already chosen a cute little pink checkered pair for when we have a baby girl…vans are the most comfortable shoes in the world.

Ryan, thanks for introducing me to designmom. It will be a regular from now on. Thouroughly enjoyed your posts this week. Do you remember wearing vans as a little boy? I always love seeing Jack wear his vans…it reminds me of you. Now you need a picture of dad in vans, with you, Jack and Max…a generational shoe “fest”. Love, you much.
